Robert Renna

Principal

Mr. Renna, a principal, brings over 28 years of experience in public accounting to his work for the firm's clients. Mr. Renna focuses on providing tax planning, accounting and business consulting services to the firm’s clients, including privately-held businesses and high net-worth individuals.

Mr. Renna manages many key service offerings to the firm’s privately-held business clients, and their owners, across a number of industries. These services include tax planning and compliance, investment monitoring and multi-state/local tax planning. He also directs the firm’s fraud investigation engagements and has extensive experience in business investigations working with prominent attorneys and other experts on high profile tax fraud cases. Mr. Renna also represents clients before the IRS and various state taxing authorities.

Mr. Renna has been with the firm since its inception and his leadership has been instrumental in its growth. He is responsible for overseeing the firm’s quality and peer review programs, which have consistently earned the firm an unqualified opinion in connection with its triennial Peer Review (AICPA Private Companies Practice Section). A Peer Review is an independent evaluation of the quality control policies and procedures of a firm's accounting and auditing practice.

Mr. Renna earned a B.S. degree in accounting from the Long Island University – C.W. Post School of Professional Accountancy, has done graduate work in taxation at the same institution and is a member of the New York State Society of CPA’s.
