Mr. Tavis is a partner and manages the Accounting, Auditing and Financial Reporting Practice. A certified public accountant in New York State and Illinois, Mr. Tavis has over 20 years of experience providing accounting, tax and consulting services to a variety of industries including physician groups, real estate development and construction companies, consumer products companies – both wholesale and retail, and venture capital firms.
Mr. Tavis also has a leadership position in the firm’s High Net-Worth Practice, and provides tax planning and compliance services to affluent families, with an emphasis on tax issues relating to family partnerships, estates, trusts and foundations. He also represents clients before the IRS and state taxing authorities.
Mr. Tavis is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Tavis graduated with a B.S. Degree, with honors, from Long Island University - C.W. Post School of Professional Accountancy and has a Certificate in Financial Planning from the same institution.
